Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. Beginning his career in television, Evans played parts including Opposite and sex during 2000. Evans became famous because of his performance as the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in several film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). His work on the Marvel series made him one of the highest paid actors.
