Luke Grimes is the son of Randy Grimes a Pentecostal Pastor and angie barker. He has three sisters: Racheal Abby Grimes and Seth Grimes. The Grimes family was a family that is religiously traditional. He went to Dayton Christian High School. When he graduated from high school, in 2002 Luke was able to move into New York City to pursue his goal to become an actor. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in which he pursued acting classes for two years. Additionally, he was enrolled in singing and guitar lessons to improve his musical skills.
