Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who loved music. The majority of her early years listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music and old classical pieces. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas as well as any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for art and music has her active in a variety of projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
